Verida was born from the idea that repetitive tasks can and should be automated, to ensure quality and repeatability independent of the individual and the competence available. What once required the right expert at the right moment becomes instead a deterministic, traceable process that gives the same answer every time.
From consultancy to automated platform.
The team behind Verida began gradually increasing the level of automation in validating industrially produced buildings, through the consultancy POJI.
The foundation for Verida was laid when we brought lead time down from four weeks to four minutes for validating a complete timber-framed apartment building in a seismic zone.
Since then, Verida's backend has been refined and validated into what it is today: a stable code base with deterministic code.
We partnered with IStools to draw on the full strength of their IT platform, developed continuously since the 1990s with well-proven stability and IT security.
Deterministic code, not guesswork.
We have deliberately kept AI out of the validation itself, to avoid hallucinations and errors. The calculations rest on deterministic code: the same input gives the same result, every time, fully traceable to standard and method. That is a precondition for standing behind a result in a context where mistakes are costly.
